Our Services
Bright House Speech offers comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, autistic individuals, and augmentative and alternative (AAC) devices. After each evaluation, the SLP will write up an evaluation summary report, including a plan of care, which will be shared with you. Plans of care are individualized based on the needs of the client.
Evaluations
We offer comprehensive speech and language evaluations tailored to your concerns. Evaluations are a combination of parent report, observations, screenings, and language samples. Together, this information provides a picture of your child and allows us to create an individualized plan of care.
Speech Therapy
Based on the evaluation results, we create a plan of care for your child's speech therapy journey. Your child's speech therapy services may look different based on what they are receiving services for. We offer 30- and 45-minute speech therapy sessions, which will be determined based on your child's individual needs.
Autistic Communication
Autistic individuals often have communication differences. At Bright House Speech, we use a child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach when treating autistic individuals in order to help them communicate.
Gestalt Language Processing
Many autistic individuals process language differently than neurotypical individuals. We help support that language development, called gestalt language processing, in a play-based, child-led way.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication
Some individuals require alternative methods of communication. We help evaluate those needs and support the language growth with those communication systems.
Speech Sound Disorders and Delays
Some children struggle to say certain sounds, even when they get to an age where they shouldn't be anymore. We support children as they learn how to produce these sounds in engaging ways.
Language Disorders and Delays
Language disorders affect the way children are able to understand and/or use language. We support children in gaining these skills and provide parent coaching to support growth at home.
Parent Empowerment Coaching
Don't feel like you can afford private pay speech therapy right now? Bright House Speech offers parent empowerment coaching! This is a one-time dedicated 50 minute session where we can answer speech and language questions you have about your child. We offer AAC coaching and general speech and language coaching.
